Phoenix Aid Centre
Psychotherapy and Counselling for everyone
“Phoenix” is a place where you can find healing, peace and meaning.
We believe you deserve to feel cared for, especially in difficult times.
Through our own experiences and observations during years of therapeutic practice,
we think the psychological problems you face have a potentially transformative effect on your life.
In Phoenix Aid Centre we aim to help you bring about a positive change in your life.
We provide a safe and confidential environment, where you can be heard.
Here you have the opportunity to explore your personal issues, express feelings, thoughts and anxieties that may be troubling you.
In this compassionate secure setting, we will help you to improve your understanding of yourself and enrich your relationships with others.

How Do We Work?
Great importance is placed on a collaborative relationship with our clients. The therapy is based on 50-minute sessions, which are tailored to the client’s individual needs.
We begin with an assessment, introducing our philosophy and methods. We like to spend the first session exploring how we can best work together, and we regularly review therapeutic progress during the course of counselling.
We offer counselling in English and Farsi.
We also offer individual and group supervision by our qualified supervisors. We also supervise the work of trainees and students.
Our therapists are members of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) or BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and we implement ethical principles as directed by these organisations.

We hold workshops on therapeutic topics and personal development. We carry out research studies to contribute to progress in the therapeutic field and to maintain high standards in our own work.
We facilitate various physical activities to improve mindfulness and psychological wellbeing.
